Laurence Ratinaud graduated from the School of Jewelry of Saint-Armand Montrond, and Philippe Ratinaud from the School of Jewelry of Louvre Street in Paris. They create unique jewels and contribute to the confection of luxurious pieces for prestigious Parisian houses on the Vendôme plaza.
In 1992, Laurence and Philippe settled in Limoges. They use the assets of their region and apply them to the creation of unique jewels by using natural materials like wood, enamel and porcelain. Their contemporaneous creations are fed by their experiences abroad in occasions like forums in Switzerland, Hong-Kong, Japan...
Their creativity and their good humor attract a very broad range of customers who often are in search of originality.
Awards & Achievements
1981 – Second award of the S.E.M.A. (Society for Encouraging Art Professions).
1989 – First award of the DE BEERS DIAMONDS INTERNATIONAL AWARDS with their diamond necklace.
2000 – Nominated for the drawing of a necklace for the DE BEERS INTERNATIONAL AWARDS.
2004 – Participation to the creation of jewels for the operation "Barbie Jewelry"
2006 – Creation of a necklace Porcelain, Silver and Ebony in collaboration with the C.R.A.F.T. of Limoges.
2006 – Participation to the “Kara” jewel creators’ forum of Paris, and presentation of The Lawn Ring (La Bague Gazon).
2007 – First award of the TANZANITE FOUNDATION AWARDS with the cration of a ring. The award was received in New York in January 2007.
